10/13-10/17 6th Grade Bible- Unit 3  God, Noah, & the Flood A Fresh Start keep up with workbook (through p 39 by Friday) Unit 2 Test Wed (10/22) Memorize Psalm 105:1-7 Have all Unit 2 Worksheets completed Study Guide will be available by the end of this week Math- Keep up with homework each night. See Planner for daily assignments. (Lessons 31-33) Ch 2 Test was Tues &Wed (should be graded and returned by Fri) Science- Still working on Chapter 2 -Mammals.  Mostly class discussions.    7/8 Grade Bible- Unit 2 Test Tuesday 10/22 We will complete Unit 2 this week (through 1 Kings 22) Be working on Memorizing Psalm 89:1-4 You will be required to recite/write it on Test Day Have all Unit 2 Pages completed in your workbook by Test Day Math- 7th & 8th- Keep up with homework.   See your planners/homework board for daily assignments. Science- Working through Weather Chapter (6)  Mostly class discussions with occasional hands-on experiences "Brain Drain"/"Thought Provoker" questions at the end of each section.  (We'll likely only get to p232 by the end of this week.)   10/6-10/8 6th Grade Bible- Unit 3  Cain, Abel, & Seth God, Noah, & the Flood keep up with workbook (through p 37 by Wednesday) Unit 2 Test likely Fri (10/17) Memorize Psalm 105:1-7 Have all Unit 2 Worksheets completed Study Guide will be available early next week Math- Keep up with homework each night. Comp Checks 2.2 & 2.3 should be completed by Friday.   7/8 Grade Bible- Elijah!!  Have all "The Mountain of God" worksheets done by Friday Be working on Memorizing Psalm 89:1-4 (You will be required to recite it on Unit Test Day which will be late next week or early the week after) Math- 7th & 8th- Keep up with homework.   See your planners/homework board for daily assignments. 8th- Test Next week (Wed or Thurs?) Science- Working through Weather Chapter (6)  Brain Drain & Thought Provokers through p 211 should be done by Friday.  Global winds worksheet on Friday.   9/22-9/26 6th Grade Bible- Unit 2 Test Thursday be ready to recite 2 Tim 3:16-17 have ALL Unit 2 pages completed in workbook Study Bible Book Divisions (Law, History, Poetry, etc) Biblical Languages (Hebrew, Greek) Bible Lands (see map in your workbook) be able to describe/define inspiration as it pertains to how the Bible was written Math- Keep up with homework each night. Comp Check 2.1 should be completed by Friday.   7/8 Grade Bible- Working our way through the book of 1 Kings (Elijah's coming up . . . one of my favorites!!) Be working on Memorizing Psalm 89:1-4 (You will be required to recite it on Unit Test Day which will be in 1 - 1.5 weeks) Math- 7th-Test Wednesday 7th & 8th- Keep up with homework.   See your planners/homework board for daily assignments. Science- Chapter 5 Test Wednesday We'll start a chapter on "weather" next.      9/15--9/19 6th Grade Bible- Unit Test next week (Wed?) be ready to recite 2 Tim 3:16-17 have ALL Unit 2 pages completed in workbook Math- Test Wed  Lessons 1-15 Science- Chapter 1 Test Friday study guides given on Wed be sure ALL Comp Checks are completed by Friday (they are also an excellent study guide)   7/8 Grade Bible- Group presentations of Jeroboam on Mon & Tues Start working on Memorizing Psalm 89:1-4 (You will be required to recite it on Unit Test Day which will be in 1 - 1.5 weeks) Math- We just started a new chapter in both grades.  Keep up with homework each night. Science- Quiz Tues Finishing up Ch 5 this week. Global Warming Paper re-write due Friday include GOOD sources use your own thoughts/words
